All depends on what carb you get. Some flow quite a bit more than they are rated at.
Always err on the smaller side than on the bigger side.
Especially if this will be a street driver.
I say that because, on the street you are going to spend an extremely small amount of time at higher rpm. And that's only really where a larger carb is going to help from what I've seen.
