Turning up the wick.

I feel that my car will run an 11.99 with whats in my sig. It has trapped in a 1/4 at 110 but with a worse 60' now that I got the 60' times down I think it will do it. So all this wanting to go faster has got me thinking. How much would I notice in the times with a stroker kit (408), larger cam maybe roller to match heads, ported eddy heads to the max, and pump gas friendly compression.

Would tens be possible on pump gas and not spending over 5k? NO NITROUS!

That is almost exactly the same engine combo and MPH that my old 360 was running before I stroked it, only my car is a bit heavier….it ran 12.4 @ 111 mph. After stroking it to 410 cubes, adding a small solid roller, 8” converter, and having Ryan from Shadydell port my Eddy’s to stage 2, the car ran 11.1 @ 120 mph. With some tweaking and a bigger carb, I should be solidly in the 10’s this year…So, yes I do think you could run 10’s with a pump gas stroker, but I don’t think 5k will cover the expenses.

BTW, beautiful car!
