Will 275's fit?
This is 255/60-15 on 15x8 wheels with 4.5" of back spacing. Springs are in stock location.
I could have easily gotten a 275/60-15 under there if the wheel had LESS back spacing, 4.25 or 4" would have centered the wheel better. As it is the side wall of the tire is about 1/2" from the spring. With the 275 you would get about .8" more width in the cross section of the tire compared to the 255 which would be about .4" on each side. With the 4.5" of back spacing the tire would barely clear and would rub for sure going around corners. With 4.75" of back spacing the tire would be incontact with the spring all the time.
