Cuda Capers 3-27-10

This should really be a continuation of last weeks thread, but what the Hell....

This morning I trekked out to American Muffler on Merrick Road in Baldwin to have my sub-frame connectors welded in. Ricky did a great job and had it done in no time.

Here's Ricky welding one in. These guys are hardcore racers.... In another thread I'll post some pictures of the toys they had there.

He did a really nice job. Unfortunately I have no idea as to what it cost as my buddy Tom picked up the tab as a favor returned. Thank you!

I'll hit them with some POR-15 when I get a chance. Today we're visiting friends and tomorrow is our anniversary and I think it might be a bad idea to go in the garage...

I have to say I was skeptical on the "seat-of-the-pants" difference people talked about after installing frame connectors, but wow.... The car handles so much better. It also hooked much straighter when launched. I realize there's much better fitting frame connectors available today, but these work. Plus I didn't have to move my e-brake cable.

One more thing off the "To-Do" list.... more to follow.
