Rear end noise
Axle bearings will make a noise when loaded like in turning.
When diagnosing front wheel drive cars, best educated guess is the side you are turning to but... Neither bearing has been any further than the other. Most service mechanics will recommend replacing both.
Now for a rear bearing, the evidence is either there or it aint. You're looking for a shinny line on drum and backing plate, or outer edge of brake shoe. Sparkling debris inside the wheels backside Maybe some oil inside the drum too eventually since the seal wont live as long as a bad bearing will. good luck
