Very stubron head gasket

I am trying to remove a very stubron head gasket on my 340. I have been trying to pry it off and am getting nowhere. I have broken a screwdriver tip, and am worried about eroding metal off the head or damaging the manifold. I think that the gasket was put on with gasketcinch.

Are there any ways to get this off without having to use excessive force?
