My First Mopar 4-speed - 1964 Dart GT

Thanks for all the replies. 8)

I haven't even taken a pic of the C-body for a long time so this is as good as you'll get for now. ;-)

I worked on the Dart today and got the brake/tail lights working (was just the fuse), bled and adjusted the brakes (boy did that help!!!!) and changed the oil. I also checked the dwell- yes it's still got a points ignition!

The dwell was at 32, that sounds about right but I don't have a factory service manual for it.

Turning the idle mixture screw on the left side of the 2-bbl carb did basically nothing. What could be the problem here? I'm pretty sure it's 2-bbls... I forgot to count the venturis!

Third cylinder back on the left (passenger) side is wet inside and the spark plug came out wet but it doesn't overheat and doesn't appear to use any coolant. Could it be oil? It MUST be oil.... The car smokes a lot out of the left side tailpipe (true duals, no crossover). I wish I knew if it was a headgasket failure or something worse. :pale:

All of the other spark plugs were sooted up but looked fine. There was only the one wet cylinder.

Ideas?
