stupid big block questions:

Okay. Here's the run down. This will be my first RB in an a body. I'm swapping my 69 cuda over to a 440 in the coming days. I've got a few questions, but first the low down on the drivetrain.

71 440 .030
over. srp forged flat tops, comp mechanical flat tappet .540 lift unsure of
dur., forged crank .10/.10 clevite 77 bearings, chamfered oil passages,
balanced assembley, shot peened ly rods with all arp hardware on the lower
end. The heads a fresh(have break in time on em) 906 casting W/modified
intake ports (max wedge style), the exhaust ports are huge. The heads were
built by the only guy in are area w/ a flow bench and flow a little over 300
cfm on the intake side @.600 lift, these ports are huge. The intake has
been modified to match the heads so its ported, and welded also. The heads
have 2.14/1.81 valves-ductile iron rockers and hardened shafts. Running a 4 seconds
flat ignition, holley 830cfm double pumper, solid cam roughly .540 lift, .292 duration.

SEEKING RECOMMENDATIONS ON:

1. fuel pump....manual or electric, brand, model, etc.

2. electric fan or flex?

3. TTI or Tri-y's? (69 barracuda with power steering).

4. How big of a transmission cooler? I'm running an aluminum radiator w/o trans cooler.

Thanks for your help guys!

So CudaJimmy, you're going to the dark side, well welcome. With that Holley 830 you might be pushing its ability to supply at WOT but try it first as it's a hell of a lot cheaper and easier than an electric setup. As far as the fan is concerned what rad are you running, 3 pass I hope. The TTI's won't work with the power steering but the Schmachers will that's what I'm running on the 383 Demon and my friends 440 Duster. You're going to net a trans cooler but whos converter you using and what stall speed. Also what tranny and rear end gears are you going to use. :burnout:
