New project driver joins the herd

Scanning Craigslist, I found a 65 Valiant 4 door, rebuilt 273 auto, in Vancouver. Drove over to check it out, drove it around town a bit, purchased it, drove it home. The only bad thing was the muffler blew up with a loud bang, and we had a loud trip back.

It's a 65 Plymouth Valiant V200, 273 2 bbl, column shift auto, 7 1/4 with 2.94 gears or something, original running gear. Engine has 1000 miles into the rebuild, 77000 original mile car.

After getting it home, I swapped the rims from the Dart onto it, eliminating the scary 13" rims.

The body is solid minus the passenger quarter which is all bondo.. :( , has some dings in the doors, but it came with a complete set of rust free, ding free doors. Also came with a straight rear bumper, another column, and another rear bottom seat. Oh, and all the gauges work! The plan is to slowly fix its problems, replace broken parts, body work and paint, and daily drive at the same time when I'm home, since the Dart is out of commission for a while.

After the wheel change..

From the pictures, you can see I need a:

drivers arm rest, preferrably in blue,
2 headlight rings,
possibly a straight grill if I can find one, but I may be able to straighten this one enough,
1 reverse light lense,
drivers side sun visor in light blue,
the Valiant horn button,
another V8 emblem for the front fender,
and two light blue kick panels.

If I think of anything else, I'll post it.
