Timing chain cover for a 318????
If you go to the following FABO link, you will find a number of photographs that show three different types of timing covers that fit the 318:

I have just gone through this same exercise for a 318 in a 1968 model year. The type of cover that is specific to your friend's model year has no timing marks on the cover itself. There is a small tab that mounts with the water pump bolts and sits on the passenger side of the engine.
Alternatively, you could probably use the cover that had the timing marks located on the passenger side. They only made those for 2 years (1969, 1970).
The only style of cover that is still reproduced is the one that has the timing marks on the driver's side (1971 and later). If you can get the tab I described, this cover would also work and it has been done by several members on this site, including me. If your friend chooses to replace the harmonic balancer, he will want the Mopar Performance P4452816 so that it works properly with the timing mark.
(I am presuming that people drive on the right-hand side of the road in Spain when I reference driver or passenger sides of the vehicle. If you are standing in front of the car and facing it, my reference to the passenger side would be to your left.)
