340 cranks over forever when warm

You may just be running a little rich on the idle mixture. This would help it start easier when its cold, but make it harder to start when its warm. Personally I'd look at a few spark plugs before I tore the carb off and bought a spacer.

But maybe then I'm the only one that thinks that a 1968 340 starting "perfectly" when cold is strange...
