Replace 273 with 318 poly and mechanical lifts

it was based on the too wide old 318.

sell the 318 poly, and find a newer 318.That will fit without much problem.

But... My 318 Poly from 1966 have 230HP, is better a other engine more new???
My car have manual gearbox, but the 318 poly have a 727 torqueflite, is possible fit in my car????

The 318 from a Jeep Grand cherokee is valid for this change???? in Spain this engine is easy for buy....
