Early A W/ 440 Headers Please!!!
you might think about using and engine plate rather than motor mounts. this will help some, but you also have a trans tunnel issue. the 727 will be a very tough fit due to the width of the tunnel. the 904 is tight enough. if you do not mind cutting out the inner fenders, the 67 and up a body headers will fit, but you will have master cylinder issues and tire clearance issues. once again if you cut the inner fenders "add" tubing to catch the shock mounting run this to the fire wall or "if" you have a cage, run this tube into your down bar at the "a" pillar. just some thoughts...and plenty of good ole fashion work/fabrication.
