1965 Barracuda Resto from Germany
All those small parts eventually turn into a car ... it's looking great! I'd like to learn more about that Branthon Korrux (never heard of it before); it's a neat finish with that gun metal gray look.

I found out why my gift package was returned from Germany. Besides some parts for your car, I also loaded you up with some American food, one of which was a very popular spiced beef stick called a "Slim Jim."
My postmaster looked in her book of international mailing regulations and discovered that Germany requires a "meat importer's license" to allow meat products to be imported. There was also a list inside the box from Customs that said it was being returned because they didn't recognize some of the other foods I included ... peanut butter cheese crackers, a pecan log, some M&Ms, bunch of other snack foods ... but I think it was the Slim Jim and the Fig Newton cookies because meat and fruit are specifically shown on the list.
I screwed up by not looking into it better before I tried to send you the big box. But it won't happen next time. Even though you could send me some German food, I can't do the same for you Uli, so you'll just have to munch on the left over car parts instead. :-D
I'll let you know when it's on the way again. Sorry it's taken so long.
