Favorite Drummer

Nobody mentioned Don Brewer from the "American Band"? Yes Grand Funk's drummer. All these mid-west people on this board and you're all forgetting about the band who sold out Shea stadium quicker than the beatles.

Peart is a god, YES. and also a big yes to the fact that he owes it mostly to hard work and buddy rich. However in keeping with my "do it different, do it Mopar" way of life, I lean towards the more obscure, underrated drummers.

Paice is awesome (HUGE Purple fan here as well).

Clive Bunker is badass (come on, no Tull fans here?)

watch his left hand on the intro of the drums, people.

Stevie Wonder on the skins. This is just raw talent.

Palmer from ELP. What a nice guy to auction off his high-zoot kit for charity.

And for you younger kids, listen to Derek Roddy from Hate Eternal. No i dont like death metal (cookie-monster lyrics), but this guy puts stuff on UTube that shows his technique. I really respect a talented guy like him who's willing to show you how to do it.
