check out this car on Ebay.......

Sure!....all you have to do is look at the Craigslist ad pictures.....check it out....it shows a lot of bubbling along the rockers, behind the rear wheels, lower part of the door, front fender and some weird bubbling on both sides of the firewall! It may not be that bad, but I say....why not include THOSE pics in the Ebay auction?

I don't like "beating people up" over this and that unless it appears that they're purposely witholding info......."SURFACE RUST"?......half dollar size?.......in 2 places? That rocker rust looks almost fist-sized.

That rust is from the inside out. It's because the drain holes got/are plugged. I've seen many So Cal A-bodies like that and they will have beautiful undercarriages and floor pans.

Many times you will see that only on the passenger side. That is because the car sat on the street and the road crown caused the water to all flow off the car on the passenger side. Also that is the side that gets hit with lawn sprinklers. And again, also the passenger side is more likely to get leaves and debris falling from trees.

Notice all those rust pictures are on the passenger side. I wonder if it is that bad, or any rust at all on the drivers side? You'll have to look at it in person.

My Barracuda has a perfect trunk floor and rest of undercarriage. But it has a rust spot just like the one that dart has behind the passenger door. Only on that side. And at the very bottom edge the rear quarter behind the tire where the metal rolls under there are some rust spots. But not as bad as this black 69 Dart. That plastic plug had junk behind it in mine.

That 69 Dart has got some cheapy paint job on it. You can see the orange peel in the picture of the drivers door post. I think the seats have been recovered and they did the inside door handles too. I wonder if the vinyl top is original.

That cowl rust deal is something you'd have to look at. I think this car could have very well sat outside most of it's life. Seems like interior redone, rust from clogging drain holes, cracked steering wheel....

A lot of these elderly driven cars in the city here get in there fair share of fender benders too. Check that body with a magnet for bondo.
