find beauty in taking something that is so cheap you could probably find one with a blown up 2 cycle for free
and put it to a use that it was never intended ! My initial experiment was with a 600cfm leaf blower ...my next move was going to use one of those backpack blowers (900cfm)
where the scroll housing could be seperated into two halves . Then sand or mill down the side that opposes the impeller enough to have it just about make contact with the blades ,then reassemble it...and see if then it could make any boost ?
My last experiment was on Pulse-jet engines.... I made a valved one with parts purchased from a hardware store for around 30 bucks . Even went so far as to run it on Acetylene for a three second burst ......Man that thing was AS LOUD as a TOP FUEL DRAGSTER ....until the valve let go !
Had to shut that experiment down early anyway .....The Cops would have shown up for sure looking for a Gattling Gun !!!

Unless that leaf blower is being used to piss off Prine. Which is a perfectly acceptable usage.....:)

The only time I might try to piss off Prine is if he happened to be a Liberal ....and we were over in News and Politics ? But if I remember correctly he's a Ron Paul Republican so we're probably on the same page !!!
