Header nitemare

I recently decided to replace the headers on my 67 Barracuda. I disconnected the collectors, starter wires and steering linkage. I removed the motor mount bolts on the left side but now here's my nightmare begins. Everything is loose but even raising the left side of the enigne with my engine hoist I can't get enough to clear the back stud on the header. One tube is butted right up against the steering shaft. Anyone got some good advise? The right side looks fairly easy,(if i ever get to that side). By the way it's a 360.
