Air Gap on Mopar /6 Electronic Dist?

From my 77 service manual:
1 Align 1 reluctor tooth w/pick up coil tooth
2 loosen pick up coil hold down screw.
3 insert.006 non magnetic feeler gauge between reluctor tooth and pick up tooth.
4 Adjust airgap so contact is made between reluctor tooth, feeler gauge and pick up coil tooth
5 tighten hold down screw.
6 remove feeler gauge
7 check air gap with a .008 feeler gauge a .010 should not fit
lean burn is:
Start pick set .008 check .010
run pick up set .012 check.014
