I got the idea from Cudaspaz, I tell ya he is a great guy to know..he bought two packs of the hood scoop foam and offered to send me the one he doesn't need.
I am a sheet metal worker so I fabed the plate up in the shop. I think if I found a nice peice of plexiglass I would have used that but the
aluminum looks ok.
I had a old top from a air cleaner that I flipped unside down and cut the openning in the aluminum pan to fit the pie tin then just mounted it on the carb.
