Will 15 X 10 wheels fit the rear?

Hold on the pics are to big.

Where I've got my finger is ONLY 1/2" clearance.

235/70/15: the tire I have now which are new
Width 9.25
Diameter 27.95
Rim width range 6-8

275/60/15:
Width 10.82
Diameter 27.99
Rim width range 7.5-9.5

So I believe I can use (get away with) 8.5 on the tire I have now. I wouldn't want to have to buy the 275/60/15 right now. $$$
