Capt. Phil

Im with you there.. that got my wife and I choked up all over again when he said that.. It gave me chills.. I work in a nursing home, and I see hard to watch things alot, and I have seen things that just blow you away.. Phil making sure 'the end' wasnt missed is one of those things.. In the 9 years I have been working there I have noticed several times that people sometimes very much know that they are about to leave us.. its freaky to say the least.. When Phil told Josh he was sorry for not being a better father, wanting his good luck necklace, and then hearing later that he didnt want 'the end' missed, I really got the feeling he knew what was comming.. leaves a lump in the throat and a tear in the eye

So true, i wonder if your body lets yo know somehow, or if you can just let yourself give up, or something.

My grandma did that i think. She wanted to live to be 100, my grand father died in the late 80's and she had been alone since 88, and hated it.

But she wanted to be 100, she was always sharp as a tack, but a few days after her 100th birthday, her friend found her peacefully laying on her bed.

Weird thing, i was her only grand son, and we had just moved to a new house, which she had never been to, she had never been in the Scamp, nor had we brought anything from her house to ours yet.

I go out to the garage to go to work, and i could smell her perfume she always wore. EWWW CHILLS. That was a little off subject, wasnt it.
