Capt. Phil

When they did the "After the catch show" with Mike Rowe and they were talking to the camera man/producer for Phils boat, I think his name was Jeff. Phil called him in to make sure he got "The End" to the story. I was a little emotional to say the least.

RIP Phil.

I saw that, too, Noel.

I also heard the comments from the show runner about how Phil seem to be doing a lot of reminiscing and planning for the future about the boys taking over. What we see on camera is only a bit of what happens.

My uncle seemed to know it was his day. He had heart problems and was on a very strict diet. He woke up in the morning in a very good mood. Happy, fun to be around, like he always was. Put in a good days work, came home. Told each one of the kids how much he and she meant to him. Played with the grandkids. Had a good chat with my aunt about how much he loved her. Really opened up. Then he said he was going to the store. Brought back a lot of ice cream and made himself a big banana split. Went to bed with a grin on his face. It was his last day on Earth.

With what the show runner said about Phil through the season and making sure to film the end of the story...did he know, too?
