Trunk Paint
The best results I've had in a trunk was to cover it with carpet, using mastic, the kind of glue you use to hold down linolium tiles. Sounds kind of cheezy, but I used some left-over house carpet that was the exact color of the exterior of the car. The carpet was just deep enough to hide all the seams and looked really good when done. I've tried roll-on truck bed coating - sucked. I've tried "speckled" trunk paint - sucked. I think almost anything will work if you take your time (I didn't), do the prep work (I didn't) and buy good materials (I didn't). If you do all that and it still looks like crap, cover it with mastic and stick on some carpet.
