If I can use a particular set of exhaust manifolds instead of headers that's okay, 302 or magnum heads instead of aluminum heads. Only thing with magnum heads is the limited intake manifold available, is this true?
What I'm honestly looking for is to improve both throttle response and low to midrange torque. I'm on a fixed income, so I have to get the most out of the parts that I do buy. I don't mind using a stall converter and different gears to help me reach my goal. It's just going to be a fun cruiser.
I have a question about lsa and overlap. I read that a tighter lsa is good for torque but when doing so raises the overlap and that supposedly hurts torque and throttle response. Since the car is a semi daily driver with a max rpm range of about 5k, what would be a good lsa and overlap
I'm going to stick around. I'm trying to stay in one direction, I think that I'm to overly concerned that I'll wind up with a combination that's not right. With the high dollar headers I didn't mean to say that they wasn't worth the money, they out of my budget. Now I got a notification from PayPal that he didn't authorize the transaction.
