Are you trying to put the rotor on the wheel side of the hub?
The disk is held to the back side of the hub by the lug studs
This is not the KH but it shows what I'm talking about
You can not take off the disk without removing the studs.
Do you have a drum brake hub?
I do 3D printing, unless you have metal 3d printing capabilities there is no plastic that will hold up to the constant movement/ vibrations.
Why not just do it right and remove the perches and weld proper steel perches in the proper locations and angles
Finally I have an update!
I was able to test fit the holders on a 67 and a 69.
On the 69 the bulb holder has no interference (deeper chrome bezel) but it does come close to the hole in the rear crossmember (turns out the OEM units do to)
On 67 the bulb holder ALMOST touches with the hole in...
@76roadrunner I think you have what the vin says you have. If the bill of sale says 76 and the vin says 78 I would go back to who you bought it from and have a new bill of sale produced. (Less complications down the road)
At this point I would forget everything you thought you knew about the...
Not just faded but the chrome came off, it was applied to the outside.
It might have been an aftermarket from the 80s glass was replaced then
I have 2 NOS and they have the chrome in the center.
Perhaps you could get special permission to post your list and have people pm you!
But there are a few nos retailers
Brads parts
Ams obsolete
Mopar mall
Mega parts
Tony's parts.
I get that you don't want to deal with selling 400 parts
But you will get 10 cents on the dollar for the parts...
Like said start with the basics...
You pulled the plugs double check the firing order.
Verify that you have voltage at the positive side of the coil with the key in start and run.
How did you verify you have fuel?
How did you verify you have spark?
Find TDC on the compression stroke and...
Your title says "crank no start"
If the engine turns over (cranks) but does not start that is one set of issues.
If it does not turn over (no crank) that is another.
So which is it at this point?
JEGS 41830: Speedometer Cable [1968 - 1976 Chrysler, 62 in. Length] - JEGS
62" for 68 Dart
Press in and large nut
OER 3592360 OER Speedometer Cables | Summit Racing
On my 67 it uses screw in on both ends
this is the cable I bought. It was identical to my OEM used one, large nut on...
Why not just cut out 2 rectangles the correct size and location for the clips you bought, (like in the photo of my post with the 67 dart door)
Simple, no welding, permanent, repairable by replacing the clips in the future.
Just a thought ...
Not saying any of this is possible but...
What if the manifold was bead blasted only on the outside.
What if that bead blasting caused a change to the metals structure.
What if that change reflected heat better than raw metal
What if they "painted" the outside.
What if...
1 qt is about 7/16" on the dip stick.
By my calculations you MIGHT have around a qt too much.
Personally, i would dump the oil and the filter. Refill with 5qt and remark the stick.
too little oil bad, too much oil bad.
too much oil can foam up.
I drove 75 miles last Sunday and used 1/2 tank.
273 2bbl 3.23 gears 215 70 14 tires
3/4 of it was on the interstate at 75 mph
1/4 was on surface
Just over 9 mpg
67 Dart
273 2bbl
No AC
Fully stock
Rebuilt once
One family car still has the OEM red paint on the dip stick.
From the upper part of the crushed ridge on the tube to the end ~7 3/4"
Entire dip stick

Looking at the photo in post #1 my bet is they are OK.
When my IVR failed closed (12V continuous) my temp gauge took a hit. the needle ended up a 1/2" too far left. still worked but never got over the low normal line. the fuel gauge was not effected. probably low on fuel and a lot of resistance...
I did a bit more research...
The zerk in the DMT kit is a 1/4 -28 tapered thread
The socket needed is 9/32 (7mm fits well)
I updated my 1st post
When I do the second post I'll get some photos and dona proper how to.
