    Red Oxide primer surfacer for the accent color. Then have the paint mixing guys mix you up a match to your blue in Basecoat only... no clearcoat for the old original look. Easy to paint that too. ☆☆☆☆☆

    Pull the distributor cap off to see that the rotor is turning when cranking it over. Start with the basics. Rock the crank back and forth and watch the rotor to see how loose your timing chain is. Possibly the chain jumped a few teeth if it is loose enough, throwing the mechanical timing out...

    Here is another thought as the linkages and latch wear over time (driver's side being used the most, and has the most wear). Try unbolting the driver's inside chrome latch release handle (7/16" headed bolt..maybe 1/2"). Then grab a vice grip or channel-lock pliers and grab the swing mechanism...

    If the door latch is binding on the striker pin? Try jacking the car up high enough to get jack stands under the sub frame at the transmission. Then let the car down on the jack stands. The weight of the engine and front end will help flex the Unibody so it takes the pressure off the door...

    Like the way the Chevy 350 hydraulic cam settings. Bring the cylinder up on compression, then spin the pushrod with your fingers while tightening the nut down. When the pushrod stops easily spinning > that is zero lash. Then you need to tighten down at the rocker 1/2 to 3/4 turn for the lifter...

    34,000 actual miles. When I took it to car shows I had people roll the windows down > the mechanisms and tracks would just glide. People would look at me like OMG, this is like brand new. Tail lights shone crystal clear, no hazing or fogged lenses. That is what sold me on the car right there...
