    Like we have seen from several members some have cnc’d chambers and some don’t. Not sure what’s up with that. I’ve never touched a set of the cnc’d heads because why would someone spend the extra money then send them to me to pay again on a budget head.

    And just imagine how good the TrickFlow heads could be. Several of us found some terrible ports and I’m not talking 10 cfm.

    I asked him on Facebook why the big drop off of horsepower from 5800-6000 rpm. I swear I honestly hit higher than that in Moms Malibu merging onto an expressway. I think we all know by now the cnc Speedmaster head is not a good program. An engineer must have programmed it.

    Heck I have a hard enough time remembering my combo from the 80’s. Probably a 400 stroker that many guys ran back then. I always stuck with the 440 combos. We all ran junk modified stock parts back then. Some guys did step up to better rods but that wasn’t in my budget.

    I tube and redrill the two common wall bolt holes on every head I port. With a 2.08 valve I’m at 334 cfm so far on a set of heads I’m working on for my duster.     Those should work nicely. My numbers are down on my last two sets because my customers held me back from what I’m used to doing as far as chamber work. Those were my last two sets of heads where the customer dictates that. A 2.08 valve should easily be over 320 cfm without restrictions on...
