    .150 clutch pack clearance

U should have at minimum .015 per clutch if this is a stock build. Any kind of performance should v be e .020 per clutch. I have had to add an extra steel against the piston to take up some clearance. U can also mill the piston down .040 to add another clutch and steel. I’ve even milled the...

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2024

To be fair, there is broad range of skill levels and as hot rodding has advanced into the electronic age there are some that aren't comfortable or just plain don't want to move forward. It has gotten easier with some of the self tuning options available now, but before that people were stuck...

    Short Cycling

Update: I attached some gauges and found the system was over charged. The tech at Vintage Air sent me a document showing the correct hi and lo pressures. I brought the pressure down to be within those ranges and the thermometer in the cabin vent went up. The VA tech said to bring the low side...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have contemplated over and over about getting another dirt bike. The XR 250 was crème dela crème back in the day. Sadly knowing my personality and the abundance of rocks on our mountain I know instinctively how the story would end. As a result I am doing my best not to get one! But this...

    Kelsey Hayes hard line question

YES, All 65-72 "A" Body cars are Kelsey Hayes disc brakes. Brake lines, for all the years are the same. Your are aware lines are bent, for left and right side calipers. Possibly the catalog listing is "F" ed up. My spare lines are both from Inline Tube, and Fine Lines. No difference from...

    Anyone done a strong 400 build ?

The shop I work with builds Mopar stroker engines all the time. There are usually three or four of them in process. They usually end up costing between $10K and $15K depending on the parts used. You can build a good street motor on a budget but you have to be super careful about part selection...

    Fuel tank

Not unless you want to go with an efi setup, in which case you would benefit from using one made by Tanks inc or other products designed for in tank fuel pumps. I have used Spectra brand and been happy with it.

    Fuel tank

Does it matter where you buy a replacement fuel tank from. Or if it's stainless or another metal? Also what about the sending unit...any better than the other.. thanks in advance.

Thanks, I now see inline tubes list a set for 71-72 Dart with disc SDDB6709 which I bought. They also list a set for 67-70 Dart with disc SDDB6704 I thought all A body 65-72 were KH 4 piston caliper.

Sorry all, but I need to vent a little bit. On Tuesday we were late getting to the airport because they didn't leave when I told them they should. So we were rushed. Like hurding cats .Barely made the plane. Did have a nice 1-hour layover in Doha though. As most of you know, my stepdaughter was...
