    Yes , there is a long wrench like tool available that bolts to the yoke with ujoint strap bolts. You could make one out of a long piece of flat bar .

    Hey guys, I'm in the process of determining shim stack on the pinion gear in the dif. I believe I have read that the torque of the pinion nut is 240 ft lbs. In order to reach that torque, is the only way to install the dif back on the vehicle? Is there any way it can be done off the vehicle...

    I'd have to measure....but, what about the boot on the seal? It interferes with how far I can insert the yoke, does that count? I know that I could insert it far enough to get the rear u joint past the cradles in order to seat it and bolt it in...

    Short Shaft Slip Yoke 727's in Old Airport Tugs?

    I was talking with a friend tonight and he was telling me a story I wonder about. He claims that years ago he got some short 727's that had slip yokes, not bolt on yokes used in the tugs at airports that tow the planes around. I've personally never heard or seen one. What say you all? Tom
