Super Stock Hemi Cylinder Head Porting with Darin Morgan

He said there like $100,000 engines, I'm guessing well over half for a pair completed heads with rockers.

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

The sub has nice bass, but it's not that powerful. LOL

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

The head unit has 2 RCA outputs as does the sub and the small Kicker amp. I'll have to add a low level adapter to the front side of the head unit to add that amp. If you think the amp will power the front speakers better than the head unit, then it might be worth doing. Thanks for all the advice.

Super Stock Hemi Cylinder Head Porting with Darin Morgan

Because they want to win races, all sense goes out the window. I recall Darin Morgan saying he charges $12K for the intake manifold for one of these engines, so I would hate to imagine what the cylinder heads cost.

Doug's headers not fitting - frustration

Man.. you are bad luck.. came home tonight to put my centerlink/tie rods in.. had to beat the piss out of a header tube to clear the pitman arm.. my engine is like 1.5" more forward than a 64+ car though, i hadn't thought bout it but i'm lucky my headers fit as well as they do.. Trans lines need...

    1973 360

A average 70' 340 Duster ran about 97mph in the qtr. at 3300 lbs with driver. A well tuned stock 74' 360 Duster ran about 95mph at 3550 lbs with the same driver. That equates to around 235 net horsepower for both. Considering the lower comp. and 1.88 intakes for the 360, i'd say both engines...

Line lock help, it's making me crazy!

I plumbed a line lock up on a Dakota and it would only lock the rear brakes no matter how I plumbed it to the master cylinder.I bypassed then removed the factory proportioning valve then it work as it should.

Rear axle ratios the same? 3.91 was available in 1970 while 3.55 was the highest available ratio in 1974. And it looks like the standard ratio for 1970 was 3.23 while in 1974 it was 2.94. I think the 240# weight difference is enough for what you describe to make sense, just curious if there...

    1973 360

Very well could be. The AMA specs list the curb weight for a 1974 Scamp with a 318 at 3190#. That's 205# lighter than the '74 Duster 360. Now, the Duster came with HD suspension (+20?) so maybe 180# more? Add the 120# difference based on MY and you are at potentially a 300# difference...

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

I'm old school. Keep adding the sub until rust falls out of the rockers and quarter panels. Add a bit more for exhaust rattle, then a touch for the sound of a few bolts loosening. Then turn it down a bit. If a window blows out during the testing you've gone a bit far, so mark the dial so when...

That doesn't look right to me. The actual brackets just don't seem right. Also, the brackets hanging that far off the biscuit, and the nut so close to the wall.. just seems different to me for some reason
