Not to be pedantic, but it should be pitot tube. LOL I'm assuming it's a voice translation typo though.

I’m starting to like smaller girl

Once there was a guy whose wife caught him cheating on her with a midget lady. She yelled, "You told me you were going to stop sleeping with other women." He said, "Well, honey, you can see I am cutting down."

Original Steering Column for '63 Valiant - Question

The turn signal you have is an aftermarket setup. The original turn signal lever comes out of the column, where the rectangular slot is. Probably the factory turn signal stuff is missing or broken. 63-66 all used pretty much the same column, albeit with different turn signal wiring plug that...

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

Youse is overthinking da sityatun. Why do you introduce Gr 8 bolts? 9mm 8.8, 10mm 8.8 or 3/8 grade 5 bolts would be fine. IMHO the breakage is not from tension expansion of the manifold. Those bolts get plenty warm through heat convection from the bolt head in contact with the manifold. My...

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

On my 67 coupe, I'm running 15x8 Cragars (4.25 inc backspacing) on the rear with Nitto 275/60/15 radials; 15x7 Cragars on the front with 225/60/15 Falkens. Chassis is stock height front and rear. The larger diameter rear tires raise the back end by about an inch.

    NHL 23-24

Yeah the fact they won 7 games over two rounds with 3 goalies getting wins is unreal. And that’s a brutal contract they offered EP40; I see them buying it out in a few years. He appears to have a similar vanishing act as Johnny Gaudreau in the playoffs. More space to skate around in the...

    Rear wheel

I'm betting you mean backspace, not offset. 4 1/2" of offset would mean nine inches of wheel to the inside, or the outside, depending on + or -. Oops.. maybe you meant 4.5 mm of offset (less than a quarter inch)

    WANTED: Packard 56 male connectors

No problem, you may be able to trim the wings a little to fit the 18 gage? I agree with doubling the wire, just make sure the terminal will fit into whatever housing it goes into.

    Overheating on run stand

Hi J, yeah timing/reversed fan blades and Ridgid fan rectified the issue. Clattery due to adjustable rockers. I've already dropped oil/filter and no signs of bad stuff. Pull the vc's tomorrow for a look see.

    WANTED: Packard 56 male connectors

Thanks for the link, 4spdragtop. I have already placed an order with Repair Connector Store. They are listed as being brass, but also 16-14 AWG. If too large for the 18 AWG, I’ll just double over to make it heavier for a tight crimp.

    Turning torque for engine

I'd be happy to look at it. I'm pretty confident I could find the issue. You've been on my property before and you know how secluded it is so no one would mess with it. My only problem is, although I do have a shop, I don't have room for the car inside.

    La318 cylinder head question

You can put regular 318 heads on it, just make sure the Springs are right for the cam if it's not stock. As for the stuck valve in the 360 heads if it didn't hit the Piston it should be okay but if it did it's bent. You'll want to clean that guide out and put a new valve in it and either touch...

    Overheating on run stand

    Overheating on run stand

Find out what rpm full advance comes in. But aside from that.. 34 degrees should be enough at the rpm you're breaking it in. As for the radiator, is it clogged? Do you have a fan on the water pump and is it about an inch or closer to the radiator? Have you tried running a hose off the petcock...

    Overheating on run stand

...time) and putting fan blade on the proper way. With blades on proper way it actually pulled the rad close to the fan. I heard it tick the shroud just above idle. Shut it down and shimmed the cradle to stop it flexing and getting sucked into fan at higher rpm. **edit** timing too or lack of lol

    Turning torque for engine

In the other post, there is a diagram of the kit. It shows the pump turning clockwise. Coolant flow, as an example, my motor makes more heat than yours. I run the March underdrive crank pulley and a stock A/C water pump pulley, through a stock 340 radiator. They are pretty close to 1:1. So I...
