Tim’s dart ate the transmission before power tour officially started. Had to do a bonsai run to get him so he could get his trailer to haul the thing back

Dad had a board with handle shaped out similar. Had a string thru the handle to hang in the cellerway. Don't recall ever actually getting wacked with it -just knew it was there. LOL.

Is it ok to copy a W5 head and make it better or are we just mad at Speedmaster

Yea I agree with you and I'm right there with you. I can't afford all the big. Name brad stuff. That was a huge screw up that I don't understand how it happened in the first place. Why even machine someone else's brand on your part? Crazy part is the cheap knockoff that speedmaster was selling...

m2 diecast anybody else into these

Are the stripes wrong on all of them or just that one? I wonder why they made some 70/71 Swinger 340's without hood scoops. That 69 looks like it has a flat hood to, from here.

Changing the rear quarters on my Dart conv. from a 69 to a 70

I've seen the yellow one at Don Garlits 25 years ago. ...and the orange 73 Scamp vert recently. LOT of work involved. US also got 70 and 71 Dart GT's, but they are rare. FABO member had a registry.

    Owner hoping for 50k?

Didn't watch but if it's a car from Brazil, the interiors in their A body cars were different and much nicer than US made cars. Most had rear folding arm rests. Mexico was like that too.

Getting fed up of high-perf , being happy with less

I'm so on board with the OP on this one!! My last car was a '73 Dart, w2 headed, 416 CI 4 speed car with 4:30 geared rear end... Fun car and pretty reliable but it wasn't what I wanted it to be. Sold all our cars in anticipation of moving south... (last car was sold in 2018)... Never moved...

    1973 duster temp sensor question

OK how it works is like this the range on the sender is 10-73 ohms and where it is at sends the proper resistance to the gauge which runs on 5VDC through the current limiter. You can check them with a ohm meter say hot and cold to bench check them. Hope it helps.

1/2 acre. 1392 sq ft. 675K Shows 1980 as the build date, so might not be the original building used by Don. Frame office "in need of repair" might be, though.

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

That's awesome.. Running and driving with plenty of time left to enjoy it, before it's cold again. The Hemi is definitely happy at just about any RPM. I've found that the Dart feels pretty normal, just as a daily, but when you put a foot deep in it's ***.. It's a completely different machine. I...

    [WANTED] 74 Seatbelt Bolts

I wouldn't know how to classify them until now. I looked at what I have in the 74 which are C10, and I have C10 in my 70, both of which work thread wise, but all the shanks on them seem long which may be OK where the belts are doubled up for 3 passengers on a bench seat. I'm wondering if there...
