    UTG vs DDG

Exactly. I'm just sharing what I've been doing for years. Extension of the hobby as I put it.

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

Just a guess but, a used TCI torque converter? :(

    That's true.

    73 Duster build named Fred

You got me there.... LOL In my defense, I gave away the race in the 3rd round. I had been racing to the stripe all weekend due to not feeling confident my car would run a number and been doing well with it. Due to the heat (and other racers complaining about running hot), the track officials...

1966 Valiant Sedan V8 Swap (Victoria)

Looking good Mike. I guess I should quit playing with my bikes and guns and get back on my Valiant.

    UTG vs DDG

What I assume the big difference from your content to his is you would be doing what your doing basically anyways and just documenting and if it helps and entertains all the better. With Tony most of his projects are for content only purposes only and they got to pay for themselves in views $$$$...

    Thanks for making that clear.

    UTG vs DDG

All you have to do is watch a DDG video with his brother to confirm that. At least Jamie is funny.

Who said anything about drag racing. We are talking street cars. Unfortunately you don’t have the gene that lets you think logically. You spew a bunch of bullshit. Have a nice day.

    K-frame alignment?

If you can, move the rear stands under the rear axle housing to avoid future stains in your shorts

    K-frame alignment?

Yes I had all four corners on 6 ton stands before I removed it! I also noticed it when bumping in to it. lol That made me a bit worried! I bought the removal tool for them guess I can use that if need be to install too! Will let you know.

    “Budget” Suspension Build Input

As for boxing the LCA's, save your $$ from buying anything. Just take some 1/8" scrap steel you have laying around and weld some straps across them. (I think i put 3 across mine.) All you need to do is tie the 2 sides together so save your $$ and make this part of the deal!

    UTG vs DDG

This is aside from the race, but UTG has said more than once it's a business and his lively hood. He cannot put 25k into a channel car or he'd go upside down. He has to do things cost effective, meaning the videos pay more than he is putting into the projects, plus pay rent for the shop...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I rode 100s of miles in a 60s car as a kid and I don't recall any breakdowns. So it's not the technology... I'd say something more along the lines of what Mat or Tim... recent stiff. Fuels, fluids parts. Hmm. Could be it's own thread... but I know that after the 6th response it'd go...

    K-frame alignment?

I think my problem was I started with the transmission/engine twisted to one side. Putting the k-frame in separately or having a better jig to build from would have prevented that. Once I got that worked out things got a lot better, other than worrying too much about applying a little...

    K-frame alignment?

Well stupidly I didn't see that there was more to the thread when I posted my first reply! Great news then! Glad to see it all worked out! That's reassuring! I will be putting my k in without engine or trans in place. Hopefully I will have no issues! But am a little worried now! Just waiting on...

Indeed it does. I understand the turn signal lenses are the same as a Daytona too. This is my 71 Duster. I have since blacked out the rad support.

    Valiant Convertible

Your Barracuda donor car will work fine for floor foot well pans on the convertible, as well as all '63-6 Plymouth A-bodies regardless of body style. You go rear of the foot wells and there are some differences between some models. The spare well will work too. Those pans are available new too...

    Kickdown issue

I don’t have a lot of confidence in the trans guy if he thinks the only solution is lengthening the rod. A&A trans makes different governor weights that they recommend when the car owner tells them what the trans is currently doing, but personally I think the PT kick down will handle it just fine.

1965 Twin turbo 360 Barracuda with nice paint. NOT MINE

It reminds me of that joke where the husband Harold tells his wife her boobs are too small and her hoho smells like caca. His lovely wife replied...Dag Burn It Harold get off my back... Don't feel bad I had to have a very picky mechanical engineer point it out to me as I was still enjoying the...
