I won't disagree with you. I wanted to keep my old style tapered bearing setup. Was lead down the garden path by Moser to use green bearings. The axles I provided could not be shortened and re-splined. If I have a hint of something going wrong, it's $500 for another set of axles that will...

I have cone style sure grip. Green bearings are fixed thus if axle too long, will hit thrust spacer. Only way to get it out, that I know of, is to disassemble SG. Don't want to find out after everything installed.

What I see does not look like that. To remove pin, does that require disassembly of sure grip?

Interesting to here and sorry it happened. I cannot draw mine out even with a very strong magnet. Was yours a cone sure grip, disk or open style?

Thanks for clearing this up. For the longest time it was a big mystery. Now that engine is in; rear end and brakes are at the top of the list. Why are the 10 x 2.5 inch so hard to come by. Would have thought with the switch to rear disk, they would be more available.

Great lifting bracket. Was successful with engine swap without removing hood.

If 8 3/4 comes with 10 x 2.5 brakes, will it accommodate 11 x 2.5 as well with same axle offset?

10x2.5 Currently have 'want to buy' on FEBO website for E body drum brake assemblies. Prefer E body brake assemblies. Do not know all the in's and out's of brakes other than will tell Moser what I have obtained and they will build axles accordingly.
