[WANTED] 67-72 Slant 6 motor mount brackets

Does anyone have a picture of the 67-72 engine brackets? I have some brackets but not sure if I have those. Can't find any numbers on some of the brackets. I have 66 down, and know those. Also have some of the later brackets with the with the rubber "insert". I need to do a visual match.

    [WANTED] 904 valve body

Pulled the valve body, and it is a 1964 PB valve body. I will have to see if I have another VB or the parts to convert the 64 VB to a 65 VB. I'll get back to you.

    [WANTED] 904 valve body

65 is cable operated. 64 down is also cable operated, but valve body is different. 65 VB has 6 detents, 60-64 VB only has 5 detents. 66 VB is mechanical linkage.

Hilborn Fuel injection - small block Mopar

I disagree. Back in 1959, I had a 324 cid Ford flathead in a 1941 Merc that ran Hilborns on gas In the early '80's a friend bought a altered wheelbase 68 Merc Cougar with a Hilborn injected small block Chevy. We ran that a couple of times on gas before parting the car out. Both cars were sticks...

    A904 transmission

Looks like that is no longer available. Just tried to order two of them, from several places. I was able to place an order from the site that was linked (only site that didn't say not available) but they said backordered and late June estimated delivery. We shall see.

[WANTED] shift and kickdown levers for A904

I don't know how many there are, but there are several different ones. They varied by application. Just for an example, if you convert a slant six with a 1 bbl carb to a super six 2bbl, the kickdown lever is different. Those are not part numbers. They are a reference number. For example in the...

Is there a junkyard gem slant six combo?

Cast crank slant six uses a different block, rods and crank than the forged crank slants. The rod and main journal are narrower. If using the 2.2 pistons make sure they are compatible with whatever rod you use. Not only on the pin location/rod length, but on whether the pistons are for floating...

    Torqueflite 904 rear seal

Fatsco knows what they are doing. I delt with them for many years. Seals do not need to be broken in. That said, when installing the seal they should always have the "lip" lubricated with the same fluid that will be sealing. Otherwise the seal can "burn" up from a dry start. PS: When I lived in...

    Torqueflite 904 rear seal

Possible torque converter drain back (from sitting) raised the fluid level enough to leak out passed the seal. Once the trans was out of park with the engine running, the converter refilled and the level in the pan went back to a level that did not leak. PS: just an FYI. The 1965 cable shifted...
