Leave the header bolts loose enough so u can pull the header away from the block. Then u can thread the bolt in. Kim

A body mounts have the bolt hole at the front of the mount. Post 15 is showing the proper 340 motor mounts. Kim

Does the small block have or need a cam button on the front of it? Or does the thrust plate take care of cam walk. Kim

somebody stamped 340 on the front of it. It’s the only number u can see and very clear at that. Since the op doesn’t post anything else I suspect he did it to get attention

I have had 340s that were cast in 1977. Chrysler had to fulfill warranty obligations. Plus they were used in boats and off road/heavy equipment. Kim
