A lot of cars I have had, I go get a classic plate on so they are registered in my name. The only way this works is if it is still in the system. So this car being alive in Manitoba probably keeps its whole life active. This just got traded with the RT. It has a pink card currently registered...

    Overheating on run stand

I never considered the curve as I know the blade throws the same flow either direction. But that curve would certainly be more efficient. In the words of an old tool push of mine, “It’s a pretty poor day if you don’t learn something new.” Today is a good day. Thank you once again FABO.

I got a tidbit of history today on the car. I went registries to get the out of province request, and the young lady told me the car was registered in BC until around 86 when it went to Manitoba. She could not give me the data but shared that with me. Gotta love it when car girls work in places...

You fellas are correct. It is frickin solid. Steve it was a 273 originally. But I have a 340 here and know of a 68 340 nearby. I’m going to wait for a bit and see how this 318 is. Maybe it will be just fine for a while.

Slid in from underneath. Certainly not my prettiest welds ever! Because I had a big wind blowing my shielding gas away on me. Had to move the smoke out though I figured. Now the welds look better!

I have to do an out of province on this so I may as well get at it! lol. No. StuBBle is safe! I’ll just make a piece for here out of flat. Off to make a patch.

That makes sense. Then the fact that the rubber creates a Vapor barrier never lets it dry up and it rusts.

This is the first time I have been able to use the hoist for work vs storage. I love it!

As expected! I have to use snips to cut this out vs a disc. I’m going to make as little dust as possible here!

Alrighty then. First off, thank you all. I am getting happier each time i look at it. Green is growing on me, as is a happy wife! You know what they say, Happy wife, lots of strife! So the 80's restoration had a couple patches done on the quarters, As far as I can tell with a magnet, they did...

I just made a trade of vehicles. Some of you know I had a Hemi Orange 71 Challenger RT. After many years of owning it, grandchildren being invented, and general life getting in the way, I decided to post it up for a trade. I really didn’t expect it to happen so quick, but it did. I traded the...

Very unusual 1968 GT rad support stamp

I have come to a point where I have accepted that I have too much on the go....I know, hard to believe! Traded the project for a driver. Should be more fun! I still have StuBBle.

Forgot all about this car! Absolutely beautiful. I may have to use a few tips and tricks here as I should have a 68 here soon. The hoist / rotisserie may be the first! Awesome work as always.

    What happened to the nova?

Considering they were a copy cat of the Nova, it is not surprising that many people who are not “educated” in cars see that. Throw all the knives you want. It’s a fact. :)

Very unusual 1968 GT rad support stamp

OK, I think I answered my own question. In 68 this was different than later years. It is not the VIN, but instead the SO number. Live and learn........daily

Not sure yet. Just a weird stamp. Doesn’t appear to have 6 numerals at the end either.

Very unusual 1968 GT rad support stamp

I may end up making a deal on a car. It is a driver. Perfect for me. Don’t want show. But one of the pics shows the rad support and the numbers are definitely not in order. I think. Anybody seen anything like this? Could you order a 340 in a plain GT? It looks have a P as the designation. It is...

He just runs right over old farm tractor

Where I live, there are tractors all over the highways at regular periods during the year. The only difference is, they’re ******* huge. If you’re stupid enough, distracted enough, drunk enough, stoned enough, or just plain ******* blind, and you hit one in a car, You’re going to die, not the...

That trucker would have hit somebody doing 5mph less than him. The speed of the tractor had ZERO to do with the collision.
