Life is factually fun and enjoyable when we learn where to find our happiness and joy! Has nothing to do with $$ and what sells the most Mecum or BJ, or what the neighbor thinks is cool!
We are all cut from different cloth....one guys diamond is another guys turd and vise versa!
I enjoy my...
Funny part is this rear end was 75 Maverick, and Rock nor O Reilly nor anyone has the correct hose. I tried all sort of models but thank you, the Bronco looks like it might work!!
Like the ford guy says " Ford ain't easy but what is!"
Answer: Nothing!!
^^^^I bettered ya!! $25.
:poke:
I could have maybe done more, but a huge pine took out my old Ram pickup other week in a storm..
Really, like said there is a lot of respect and love for Steve. Hopefully this go fund will be shared with all the old car world. MotorTrend should have...
Thats for the info. It does not give the diameter but the length looks correct. The Bronco's hose is closer to right the the F100. Life should not be this hard!!
Sweet ride!
I say life is measured in smiles per mile and happiness is not always measured by $.
Make it as nice as you want and can afford or feel compelled to spend. Just don't tell the wife like in your moto cycles!!
I have a 64 Comet that I changed the rear end to a 75 Maverick v8 8 inch rear. The rear brake hose has the brass fitting and the vent bolt is 1 inch. I have ordered several rear brake hoses for 3 different models, the 75 Mav , 69 Torino, 66 Fairlane theu Rock... everyone has the smaller...
Like I told my wife the other day...."all great men are dead,,,and I haven't been feeling all that well myself lately!" She said "yea, right!!" ha That s a joke,,, sorta!!!
I agree, US old farts gonna have to go safe and I do. But when inflation kills the $, the guys surviving have tangible assets. That 5% barely keeps me at "even" with inflation. But way better than what the crooked banks used to pay which was nothing! :BangHead:
^^^^ LIke 66fs said!
There were two early slant bells drilled for the 4 speed I don't have any anymore or the #'s. Hard to find anyway. Just for the std. A833 4 speed. BUT they don't have the hole for the OD unit. Only bell that comes to mind that might work in the truck slant OD setup/...
^^^ Thats how I have done it many times.
I always wanted one of those little stretcher/shrinker tools!!!!
I learned decades ago, IF I did a (rare?) car back to perfect, I was worried about driving it and getting a scratch or gravel peck... and I knew it would have to be sold to make way for...
Ya can't hardly sit on the "throne" with a darn computer in ya lap....mags work so much better!!
I subscribed to MCG since it was a tabloid, but when it got to seem to be a rich guy's mag having parties at the Playboy mansion, I cut it loose. I always enjoyed MA.
Now MotorTrend on the sat...
I learned along time ago, IF I could not be the work (like for anything whatever it might be) I was pretty much screwed!!!!! Even more so today!
Like the friend and neighbor down the road that was going to come over and get that 4 log log tall pine off my friggin truck where it landed in the...
Yea... and just how many people today actually think the mileage showing on their 70 Dart is what is really is!!???? :BangHead: :steering: :poke:
I agree, the car cover in that bldg. in winter held moisture. If he had a concrete floor, maybe some ventilation, it would have been OK. I never seen such a nice car just go to Hell that quick. Mice pee is caustic! I lived on Mo. 37 years.
OK so I mean't 3:55s.
It is a different world today, in every, EVERY possible way... take me back to the sixties and omit Viet Nam and the hippies! :BangHead:
Doc. you have a really nice place and an excellent plan.
I still work off a dirt floor! :BangHead: :BangHead:
I had a good Mopar friend that died at an extremely young age about 1998. Had that blood bleeding disease. We lived in NW Mo at that time and he had a boneyard and some personal...
