LMAO at the poor English in compressor manual

I have not built models since I was a kid. I have a friend who is into building all kinds of models big time. He convinced me that we should build at least one model together. I have a 69 Barracuda 340 4-speed fastback car, so I found a 69 Barracuda model and bought it. I have paint left over...

    New Project

225 70r15s here on this latest truck I picked up out of Alabama. Oddball 5.5 hubs, had to do some machining on the center hole to get these Aluminums to bolt onto this '89. Happy with it now, but Ma Mopar makes you work for it. ☆☆☆☆☆

The topless adventures of Cuda Al

One thing about my paint guy is he is fast, some times too fast. Even when I give him specific instruction he forgets something, otherwise he does great work at a fair price. He used a tinted sealer, the above picture is just sealer. While at his shop I had the new windshield installed...

    Intermediate Shaft Wear

I wish there was a way to check the bearings without a teardown. I'm sure the filter caught a lot of it, but there is likely some in the pickup screen too. What to do, what to do...

1964 Plymouth Barracuda Door Latch assembly

Hey yall, I am rebuilding a 64 barracuda from basically scratch and I need to rebuild all of the door latches, windows and locks, but I only have a few bits and pieces for the assemblies. The doors are just the door panel with nothing in them. No latches or anything besides the original window...

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

My opinion @Ant is for what you want, go with one of the cam guys that you're comfortable with. You want to experiment and/or compare? then sure do a DV formula and pick one yourself. You want something that will do what you want withoutout much risk? then go with one of the guys in the...

    Magnum and Wiring Swap

I think any Dakota/Durango should work. Maybe even a van or truck, but not sure. If you wanted to add the VTSS functionality, I think it has to be a highline or premium unit and should have had the VTSS enabled before hand. No idea on getting the fob programmed to it if you don't get one with...

The topless adventures of Cuda Al

The engine is out, I had a friend over that has actually pulled a 6 out and understood its quirks. For the most part it happened quick so no pictures of the pull. The only issue started when I couldn't find my chain lift sling as I use a carb plate on the v-8s. So I ran down to the parts store...

That doesn't look so bad. When you run it, the belt will narrow some and move into the pulley further. You definitely don't want it running in the bottom of the pulley either.

Dialing in my 73 project Duster

A 7.25 rear end will not last long behind a 340. I grenaded several of them with a 318 4 bbl. You can put in a Ford 8.8 rear axle from an Explorer with a little bit of fab work, but they typically come with 3.73 or 4.10 gears, and a traction lok differential. Use the search engine feature here...
