    Roller Lifter Identification

I don’t think so. The Engle lifters had an aluminum pushrod seat and they did not have captive links like that. PRH called it early. That’s a Comp lifter. Look at the link bars. Comp for sure.

    Valve adjustment.......

Blow me. What difference does it make if it’s a /6 or a Pro Stocker?? Doing stupid **** is still stupid ****. I’m not bragging but evidently I intimidate people like you who prefer garbage parts and bad tuning procedures.

    Intermediate Shaft Wear

Yeah, that’s not good. It’s hard to see in the picture but that almost looks like a sintered bronze or oilite bushing material. Not saying it is because it may be the picture but usually brass doesn’t make chips like that. At least not the brass they use for those gears. If this is a...

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

I’d explain to you why you use seat to seat timing but you can’t learn. And of course if your god Vizard doesn’t say it you don’t know it. I wouldn’t buy another DV book with a gun to my head. Have you ever even seen The Horsepower Chain? That one book exposes a lot of garbage put out by...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

That guy on the local news had bad info. I just looked at VSFB homepage about the Minutemen launches that were broadcast to take place this morning. The USAF says the launches are on 6/4 and 6/6. Newsman way off. :soapbox:

    Intermediate Shaft Wear

Well, the verdict is in. Pulled a valve cover and wiped the rail with my finger onto a blue towel. If you look closely you'll see the small brass "sacrifice". Time to pull the engine.

    Intermediate Shaft Wear

Different poster “FWIW, I've put in a Crane gear on a Hughes shaft... that will be run on a cam that was dyno'd w/ a bronze gear (since pulled)... and the engine currently has a HV pump and made about 65 PSI hot w/ 30w. I also picked up a standard HV63 pump (std pressure, std volume) "just in...
