    I had a small leak at the top where the tank/core sit together. He had to take the top tank off, found a lot of blue RTV (not by me) that he cleaned out, reset the tank and resoldered the whole thing. Got the car running last night BUT it was going to rain so I did not have the time to take it...

    Classic has one thats adjustable one for boosted application, I put a vacuum pump on my set up due to aftermarket block and just venting the valve covers was not cutting it.

    Greg, can you weld? Side to side movement on these can be reduced considerably by welding a piece of scrap across them, if room, both front and rear

    Got some work done,chevelle out of shop and tucked away. Did a bunch of plug welding on studebaker box floor. Stood it up and will weld braces tomorrow. Build mini tubs and paint underside then its ready to bolt on. Headache is relentless though. Im done for the day.

    My buddies 64 Polara racecar has knocked the end of the starter off 3 times. His 727 case finally broke and when we installed a different case, I chased the starter threads and installed the stud. No more broken noses, yet. He pulled all the threads out and had thru bolts to hold starter on.

    I wondered about the /6 to SB mounts too, but looking at the pictures it appears the /6 to SB conversion mount does not end up in the same place as the SB to BB mount does.
