    340 exhaust manifold heat shield

IMHO it WILL last a lifetime BUT I would have your manifolds "decked" to true them up and make them flat before compressing the gasket

Good Initial Timing and Too much Total Timing Problem. Seeking guidance to minimize total timing. 1969 Swinger 340 4 Gear

I picked up my first antique dial back (snap on) light. I measured the total and it was about 61 with the VA can attached at some about 2000 to 3000 rpm. It is a CAP dual point dist. And set at 5 before, spec is 5 after so it is 10 advanced over spec. That would have had it at 51 total with...

    67 and 69 Barracuda back-up light

I got my first Stainless sample of the "improved" housing. The integral bulb socket is fantastic! I just need to do some test fitting and finalize the connector overmolding.

    Vent window metal question?

If you are talking about the part that gets bolted to the door frame I would say pot metal. But probably not solid cast aluminum

Slow Crank, No Start When Warm

You might be able to get additional 2AWG wire and double up the runs! Might be cheaper than 2/0 wire. Either way you can use both sets of wire in the end. The cross section area of 2x 2AWG is about .098 in sq The cross section area of 2/0 is about 0.102 in sq

Help! I need to barrow a console tack mount base

Part of borrowing parts to copy is the value of the original and the risk involved with loaning a valuable part to a basic stranger. I get that. I am so appreciative of the folks who loan me parts. I have bought several parts to copy, like the chrome backup light bezels for 67 and 69...

    bolt torque spec?

Now now children.... Some of us old cantankerous farts forget that not everyone knows what we know. So to us some things seem too obvious to need to be asked. Sometimes our delivery is a bit abrasive as well. Perhaps we can all try to be a bit more like 2000 grit than 80 grit and also at the...

    Water pump pulley?

The 67 273 standard cooling is under driven the wp pulley is about 6.75 and the crank pulley is about 6.5 If you can get a 6.5 and your crank is 6.5 you will probably be fine The other thing that was done is fewer vanes on the water pump, when the speed was increased. Check your FSM, I...
