Here's the specs on the brass ABS bypass fittings: 90° 3/16" flare with 1/8" pipe. 90° 5/16" flare with 1/8" pipe. 1/8" pipe brass coupler. Fits the factory dodge male brake line fittings at the rear ABS block. Teflon tape used on the threads. Local hardware store should have all the brass...

Searching for 12v switched power after ditching ballast and installing aftermarket electronic ignition

Don't know if you are beyond this yet? I had good luck using this Volt Meter to see charging voltage, when I did the 1 wire Alternator conversion on the '89 truck. Simple 12 volt wire hookup, the other spade on the back goes to ground. Works surprisingly well. ☆☆☆☆☆

    New Project

A pint of Seafoam in the oil will help loosen up the carbon stuck piston rings, and help them to seal to the cylinder walls again. Have saved a lot of oil smoking engines by letting that seafoam soak in there for a couple weeks after warming up the engine. Then change out oil and fresh...

Good thing you are taking those spacers off. I see they were already loosening up and egging out the bolt holes. Nasty Dangerous.... ☆☆☆

    New Project

There is a good chance the rear wheel only ABS system (junction block) went lame. Instead of trying to fix it, they probably just removed the rear brake shoes and went without. That rear ABS junction block is probably still stuck. This is a good fix to bypass the Rear ABS, then you can put...

Looks better with the wheel spacer out of there. Yeah Crazy, no rear brakes.... Lucky your aluminum wheels still fit the 5.5 truck bolt pattern. Saw your YouTube about putting the Bluetooth in the radio. Great idea > good thinking and execution. Too bad the actual radio came up lame. You Pull...

2006 dodge 3.3 timing chain slop.

Put the new timing chain in. I know of the same loose timing chain issue on a caravan. Recommendation was only drive it back and forth to work 4 blocks away. Their kids took it on a road trip to Duluth MN on I-35w, 70+ miles per hour. Blew the timing chain half way there, had to leave the van...

    Lower radiator hose

Make sure and put the coil spring inside, there is suction there that will collapse that lower hose. Especially if using a higher volume water pump. ☆☆☆☆☆

    Nicks Garage 383 build

Apparently there are lots of people patiently waiting for Nick's: Part - 3 Video. 6,000 views in just 10 days. Too much cam, too low of compression with the previous odd .020 over pistons that were re-rung, sunken valves in the head's recent valve job. Mismatched intake to head ports, after...

Did the 1979 Lil Red Express come with an air pump?

All that added pollution control equipment sure is taxing on a simple V8, 4 barrel engine. Not to mention all that stuff is 45 years old and it all has to work if it is going to pass the emissions tests. If the truck has been sitting around and not being driven regularly, all the worse...

Yes now that you mention it, and same brand Tekonsha brake controller that you have, that I recently had shipped in used off ebay. Have one just like in my main Ford traveling / towing van that works so well too, wanted another one just like it. Simple to wire in. ☆☆☆☆☆

Inside tire wear on the front.

It's Toed Out, can check with a tape measure. Need it to be 1/8" toed in at the front measurement, as compared to the rear measurement of front tires. 1/8" toe in equalizes out to > 0" toe in when driving diwn the road. ☆☆☆☆☆
