I agree 100% as mine easily went over 300 with a 2.02 (3/8) valve with zero mods to the pushrod pinch. I don’t even think I had my sonic checker then.

Some guys like our announcer and some guys don’t but her was a BIG part of yesterday’s efficiency. Today makes their third day in a row with the Orieys track rental. I guess the big honcho is from down south and a racer so that may help. He has three track rentals in the local area.

Well I lost to the kid I bought my duster from. This was his starter car running high 11’s when I bought it. Good race.

6.05 out of it. Moving on to 3rd round.

Finally a day at my local track with no rain in sight. Ran a 6.03@111mph first time trial. A 6.04@111mph the second time trial. Dialed a 6.04 first round and I’m moving on. If this car had a better driver it would be in the winners circle once in awhile.

I need a calibrated bench as I want to feel confident in my numbers I’m giving customers. Kinda one of the reasons I’ve had three different benches. My bench doesn’t matter if it 90 degrees or -10 degrees.

I see very few of the blown Gen 3’s at the track on race day. I’m betting they get very inconsistent going rounds on race day. Kind of a test n tune toy out trying for “new bests”

So are you buying one. I’m not into power adder cars unless they are super fast and those engines don’t make good bracket engines. And I’m not into powerful street cars.
