    Help with no spark issue

Del knows way more about the electronics then i'll ever know, but please tell me it still has the original cam/lifters and not a new one. Nothing worse on a new one then a no start condition.

Need a solution for a problem.

I'd suggest finding someone who could use/want the OD and sell/swap to get a standard 833. It will help your 1st gear issue and with the 3.55's give you the tq multiplication you want in 2 thru 4 vs the 2.92.

    Carb Advice

I agree. Since your running quality fuel, have you looked into advancing the timing a bit. That may cure your starting and idle issues.

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

Myself and others have brought up the cam timing issue and i'm still leaning that way. Way back when i was in my teens and still learning, i did several ''dot to dot'' installs and not all, but most left something on the table. And yes, those all never hit the different converters as they...

    Non A-body mopar question

If it's as nice as you say, that rear wouldn't stop me from buying it. The 7.25 weakest link was the spider gears when free spinning from water/ice and then grabbing hard. The sure grip axles were stronger then most think, but were rare and good ones are almost non existent these days.

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

You have some gear and the converter is decent enough for that cam, so what is your actual comp ratio and what intake are you running... P.S. Was the cam degreed in...

    Leakdown test on rebuilt engine

Steve, don't panic just yet. Imo, the rings don't fully seat until the've been under load, like several 4grand decel's in gear, and that can't be replicated on a run stand. Just 1 cyl is a concern thou. Wish i had a quick solution, but if i think of something i'll chime in.

    Stroker 340>416 Build Advice

First off, don't worry about the .700 lift numbers. I'd be concerned about the 104 cl vs a 2k cruise rpm. That said, keeping your current exhaust, i think you'd be plenty happy with 250ish at .050, low 600'' or so lift cut on a 110/112 cl. With cam availability these days, it may require a...

I'm assuming a mild build, so if the flat tops are stock and the compression is low, the Summit 6900 is my first choice for value. DODGE Summit Racing SUM-6900 Summit Racing™ Classic Camshafts | Summit Racing If by chance the pistons have a decent comp height, with a little more comp, this...

    La318 cylinder head question

Being in the 120lb range, i think you may be happy with the 318 heads. If you have a big port intake currently, don't let that discourage you, it will be fine with the right gaskets.

    La318 cylinder head question

Not sure if AJ went here or not, but...... If it's not disassembled yet, do a compression test on the other cylinders. Might give a indication of what your working with.

How would you rebuild this 318?

If everything else is in good shape, just repair the short block, get a gasket set, and move on...imo. I'm sure it's a fun ride just as it is.

    1973 360

A average 70' 340 Duster ran about 97mph in the qtr. at 3300 lbs with driver. A well tuned stock 74' 360 Duster ran about 95mph at 3550 lbs with the same driver. That equates to around 235 net horsepower for both. Considering the lower comp. and 1.88 intakes for the 360, i'd say both engines...

    360 vs 383

I grew up ''car wise'' in the late 60'/70's and there were quite few 68/9 Road Runners around at the time. While they were a great performance value then, i think they also contributed to the lack of respect for the 383. Most dealers ordered the basic models that were column shift auto's with...
