On my 273 commando I have an LD4B with a 600cfm edelbrock. It’s a great carb but it’s not a good match for this setup IMO.

For new? Yes. That does seem alittle loose. That's typical of older setup. At least what I've seen. Not to say it's of every case.

Went with the Super Sniper. Didn’t do the installation myself because I wasn’t that confident in my ability. I know I’m a klutz. Truthfully it looks complicated. However the resulting performance is like night and day.

I agree but there is sortof a jump from the large factory bars to the aftermarket bars (for Abody) around .990 I can vouch for the KYBs being worse for the street even though they may have been a better match for the 1.03 bars - and I was autocrossing 6-12 events each year. My friend gave up...
