I believe the crank pulley is always the same but they offer 3, 3.5, and 4 inch ones to go on the blower. Mine came with the 3.5 inch.

Good news. Cut all the unused wires out of the factory harness, rewrapped it, reinstalled, and the car still managed to start when done. I must not have accidentally cut out anything important! I'm pretty happy with how the install is turning out to look. I'm excited to get to drive it again soon.

Cut all the now unused wires out of the factory harness, rewrapped it with the non-adhesive vinyl like original, and reinstalled. I believe engine bay wiring is now complete. Hope to get the grill and lights back in tomorrow night.

Thanks much for the guidance today. I'm 99% sure I got the timing lock removed. Before it stayed at exactly 15 all the time, but afterwards at idle it'd bounce up and down in range of 14-16ish. Regarding "base tune in tables" - is that what is established by driving it and letting the Sniper...

Currently waiting on some more Lokar stuff to arrive so I can finish the throttle and kickdown cables... need to get it to the exhaust shop to have them make a modification to the pipe as with the new location it just barely rubs against the tranny linkage... then clean up wiring, hood back on...

Good progress today... plenty more to go.... anxious to let the Sniper "learn" to improve the mixture and also get it out of the garage where throttle can be sustained a bit- the quick on/off revs seem to make a hammering noise in the garage as the blowoff valve opens and closes... may end up...

This worked. I think I might need to get the larger pulley. They offer a 3, 3.5, and 4 inch...got the 3.5 now but probably need to get the 4 to slow the blower down a bit as it's seriously loud even just at idle!

Hmmm.... I was able to get the timing down to about 25 after TDC by rotating the distributor CCW... Went ahead and pulled the distributor and rotated the gear I think 1 tooth CCW and reinstalled. Now it just won't start. Battery dropped low again after a bunch of cranking, so I'll throw it on...

Nothing in the printed manual they send with the unit about that, but I did find a page talking about it in the online manual they don't package with the unit. I'll report back after some more playing with it. Thanks.

Thanks. I'll dig back into that book. I did notice the handheld run screen was showing 15 degrees despite my entry in the setup wizard being 0 currently (previously 20). As noted, there's likely a step I missed.

For reference, when I had the engine out, I did use one of the TDC whistles screwed into the plug #1 hole and it did appear that the whistle stopped right about when the mark on the balancer was lined up with 0 on the scale, so I don't really think my balancer has slipped. Gonna let it cool...

That was my thought as well. Seemed like a lot.

Is this the point where I need to loosen/rotate the distributor until the harmonic balancer mark lines up with 0 on the scale?

So I watched some videos on timing lights and checked. Put some white paint on the harmonic balancer on either side of the mark. The marker on the engine only shows up to 10 degrees before or after TDC, but from an estimation it looks like my current timing is about 30 degrees after TDC. I...

Wasn't planning on an intercooler yet, but was keeping it in mind for maybe a next winter project. Top hose is hot. Will check thermostat direction.
