    If it was me = the money I spend building my engines -- I would pull it apart OR at least pull the pan and inspect to rod bearings and cut apart the filter for inspection!

    The Bronze gears are a race only piece designed to sacrificially wear first. On our race cars we replace them every 50 to 75. passes or once a year whichever comes first. We do NOT run them on a street car period. A melonized gear is what is on our street cars.

    No Aluminum Quarters. Correct on lightweight Hoods/Deck lids/Bumber brackets.. I believe Dart and Duster only 1976 as I remember. I have a nice 76 Duster Lite hood in the back of the shop. It has been For Sale on this site but never any interest.

    NHRA BO29 information from 1968

    They had a red sticker in front of driver door that stated they were NOT Street Legal or conform to safety standards. At least the three I owned did. Including one Brand New in 1968.
