    as far as i know, nobody makes a kit. the bushing is #2781445 and you can find them on e-bay (or if you're a cheap *** like me, make your own) the grommet is #2781444. they used the same stuff in 3spd column applications up until the 80's, including trucks so that may help in your search...

    apologies, i should've been more detailed. you can shorten the shaft and use a coupler (flaming river, universal, etx.) @BergmanAutoCraft probably can hook it up with a top quality coupler and detailed instructions/kit specifically tailored to the install. or just buy a column.

    not really. that's about rate for a complete 340. they're all over CL & OU in various states of disassembly or completeness and not a one of them is under 2K 340 4spd stuff is pay to play.

    73~76 is flat on the ends 67~72 the ends are perpendicular 64~66 the ends are perpendicular but the idler/pitman are at a slight angle and the drop is quite pronounced, it is also much narrower. here's a 73~76:
